Infertility is defined as a couple’s inability to conceive despite unprotected and regular intercourse for a year. First, after detailed information is obtained from the patient, the patient is examined and the cause of infertility is investigated.<\/p>

Infertility is often a health problem that can be overcome with appropriate treatment methods. Once the underlying cause is found, hormonal treatments, surgical interventions or assisted reproductive techniques can be used.<\/p>

Main causes of infertility:<\/strong><\/p>

  1. Ovulation disorders
    2. Blockage or damage in the fallopian tubes
    3. The presence of chocolate cysts called endometriosis
    4. Deformities in the uterus, structural problems or myoma
    5. Hormonal imbalances such as polycystic ovary syndrome
    6. Decreased fertility due to early menopause or advanced age
    7. Sperm deformities or abnormalities in sperm production
    8. Adhesions caused by sexually transmitted diseases
    9. Hormonal problems, thyroid gland disorders, endocrine diseases
    10. Smoking, alcohol, drug use, exposure to environmental toxins, excessive stress, irregular lifestyle, obesity
    11. Unexplained infertility<\/li><\/ol>

    In patients who come for pregnancy, if enough time has passed, the couple is examined in detail. The woman’s ovulation status is imaged with ultrasound to investigate the presence of a structural problem in the uterus, hormonal tests are requested to evaluate ovulation functions, and hysterosalpingography, or HSG, is performed to evaluate whether the tubes are open. Sperm parameters are examined in men.<\/p>

    Depending on the underlying cause, ovulation-increasing treatments and insemination treatment or IVF, or IVF, may be applied to the patient. IUI and IVF treatments are applied in our clinic. In IVF treatment, eggs are developed in large numbers with medications, fertilization is achieved with sperm in a laboratory environment, and the resulting embryos are transferred to the uterus.<\/p>

    Currently, infertility is seen in 15% of every 100 couples of reproductive age. Infertility problems increase after marriages at older ages. There are many safe and effective methods to overcome infertility, and couples’ chances of getting pregnant increase.<\/p>

    Although having a child is perceived as a simple and natural process, the formation and continuation of pregnancy is a complicated process. A healthy egg production by the woman, quality sperm from the man, the sperm reaching the egg – and therefore a healthy fallopian tube, the sperm fertilizing the egg, the fertilized egg attaching to the uterus and the attached egg also need to be of good quality.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
